It would be great to be able to customize the list of Relationships on the Info tab of peoples' profiles. For example, most of what's listed now are family relationships (Brother, Sister, Son, etc). But we often track other relationships like Teacher, Pastor, etc.
So, although you could probably pretty easily add other relationship types, the long-term solution would be to allow us to customize the list!
Yes! I have many students who put friends or teachers on the list, and I am unable to add them in a correct category.
Here's what we can do. If you send us a support request with a list of the relationships you'd like added, we can add them for just your institution. Here's what we need for each type:
1) Generic Name (e.g. Sibling)
2) Male Name (e.g. Brother)
3) Female Name (e.g. Sister)
4) If applicable, an inverse relationship type containing 1,2, and 3.

FYI - We are adding "Friend" and "Relative" in our next release as they are necessary for another feature.
