Master Calendar for Scheduling

We would like to have a master calendar of all locations/rooms on campus that are used for events that could be added as a shared calendar. We often rent our facilities to other schools, community groups, etc, and need a way to keep track of scheduled events, but we do not want these events on our main School Calendar. I know that we can add the calendar for each location individually, but it would be much easier to have a master calendar for this purpose.

  We'd also love this option.  Right now we have a person who's job it is to enter each class, event, study room reservation, etc. into a separate Google calendar.  I'd love to free up his time for something more productive.  Thanks!

  I like the idea of a master calendar. We could use it for events and meetings. This also could be a way for us to possibly have students sign up for appointments. We have students that need to make financial aid appointments all the time and it would be nice if they could just sign up on Populi. This actually could be helpful for all of our staff. We could set open appointment blocks for students and they could sign up based on the open appointments.

  100% for us! It would be fantastic if we could also use smart scheduling to determine rooms as well. It's currently a 3 month process for two people to get our classes scheduled... A robot inside Populi could totally do this.

  Yes please! Would especially like to have open appointment slots for students to sign up to.

  I would also like to use Populi for room reservations. Now we pull the data into a different system for that. If folks could login to their Populi account and use that to request a room reservation, that would really simplify things. Either they could just sign up for a room, or maybe we could have a 'moderator' that reviews requests and assigns rooms?

  Having a master schedule that shows rooms and classes by term/month/week would be amazing.  Even in this digital age it is often important to be able to "view" or "print" a master schedule for various reasons.  Please add this option to a future release.
