Would it be possible for the professor of a class to see statistics regarding the use of the discussion board for a particular class? It would be nice if they could look at the statistics and see how many original posts a student made for a class as well as how many responses. Possibly even reporting the average word count would be nice too. This could be an additional page attached to the performance dashboard perhaps where statistics could be housed. Thanks for your time.
Discussion is a major component in our online course work, and this sort of tool would be extremely helpful.
I agree, from the student perspective. Almost like a history report of posts. For me, the day and time of the posts would be sufficient.
This would be wonderful since much of our online student grade is generated through the discussion feed.
