We get a lot of request from parents and students for letters confirming that they are enrolled full time as a student. For example discounts on insurance. It would be great to have the communication plan tie to a student and their enrollment status. This would save so much time typing by hand.

I agree with Dennis! It would be very time saving to have a letter generated directly from Populi for these requests.
Could this work as a Page Layout like the Custom Transcript? If the school provided the text of the Enrollment Verification letter, could placeholders be built into the layout that would be replaced with the actual text and data for the student? We actually had this feature in our cheesy old Microsoft Access database. Now we have to manually prepare each letter from a Word Document.
I've been using a letter template that I put into Populi and it's been working pretty good. The only problem I'm having with it are the lack of variables available so I do have to do a bit of editing with each letter I send. Variables I use are: Student ID, degree, full time/part time status, year of studies and entrance & completion dates. Also, the ability to put "his/her" text in letters would be fantastic, though not as important as the others I've mentioned. I'm not sure if addressing variables would satisfy Dennis' initial request, but I thought I'd throw this out there anyway.
YES! Agreed. We need populi to produce enrollment letters.
Every one is individually made on word, and it seems so redundant to look into students populi, then copy and paste them into Word.
Please have an enrollment letter tab!
I agree with Christal that introducing more variables that can be used in a letter template could satisfy this request while also expanding our general usability of letter templates

Enrollment verification letters can now be exported from profile->student->gear icon->print enrollment verification.
Would it be possible to include credits as a column for the enrollment verification letter??
