I would like to see a way in Populi to do automatic electronic delivery of account statements to our "customers" in the same way Populi delivers ours via an automated system.
We have former students and alumni who can incur charges for transcript requests, etc, and right now I have to go in and construct the email, attach the invoice, etc, and if there were a way to be able to have that sent automatically upon invoicing or some other trigger that would be great. Since we use Google Apps for email, those folks are not going into Populi to see alerts on their homepage.
Also, it would be great for current students to get that PDF statement delivery via email (remember we are using Google Apps so students don’t have to go to Populi to check email) that they could forward on to mom and dad. Sort of an alternate (and in my opinion more convenientJ) way to get the students to keep up on their payments.
