I've realized that Populi does not notify the Admissions Department or those in the Admissions role when someone begins the application process. Would it be possible for a notification to be set up? Even just an e-mail sent to our personal account letting us know someone has started. I find that I don't check the "Online Applications" every day and when I do, there are 3-4 applications in there. Right now it's not that big of a deal, but when we really start receiving applications for the 2011 Fall semester, it would really help to have some sort of notification to let us know someone has started the application so we don't get backed up in processing applications.

The new design has Online Applications and Pending Components in tabs along the top and they each have badge counts that reflect the number of items that require attention.
Notifications aren't a bad idea either, I just wanted you to know about what we have coming.

Thank you for sending me that. I have not seen that yet. I think that will definitely help a bit in not letting online applications build up. However, I know I personally don't click on the Admissions Tab every day, and don't think that having the Tabs would completely solve the problem. Even just something that pops up our feed on our Dashboard would be sufficent.
