It'd be great to have the option of setting up payment plans by dollar amounts. Occasionally we have students who can only commit to x amount of dollars per month and will make those payments until their bill is paid in full. Currently, I have to figure out what percentage is closest to the dollar amount and then spread out the payments that way which is very time consuming.

In 2018, we added a new type of payment plan schedule that allows a student to pay a flat amount indefinitely until all invoices on the plan are paid off. This is similar to how a revolving credit card would work. Going to mark this feature request complete!
In our case, we have 2 payment options: pay your bill upfront and get a discount or pay a deposit upfront with fixed monthly payments after that.
It would be great to be able to enter those specific dollar amounts for the payments to make the math work out right. Right now, I can't even get the percentages to work out because we can only use 2 decimal places.
This would be really helpful, and I love the automatic payment option. We do this currently with our students, but it would be so nice to be able to set it up direct through Populi instead of going through authorize.net separately.
Agreed - the percentages get tricky with odd number of payments.
Please, please make the set dollar amount an option. I spend way too much time fiddling with percentages to get close to a student request.
