Would be really nice if there was a way to apply a communication plan to a group of students at once rather than having to go to each profile individually. I can envision doing this on the first day of school for various reasons.

Visible Admissions I completely agree. I have literally hundreds of contacts that will be imported soon and it will take hours to click on each person individually to add a communication plan. To be able to add communication plans to multiple people would cut down on the time it would take me.
This would be a much appreciated option

Allan Crowson This would be most helpful. I manage our online program, and there are certain communication needs that involve all online students, for example, or the students of a given program or course. I see this as different from the ability to email a given course instance or section, which is fine as far as it goes. What is needed is a way to lay out the communication elements and points along the way, generate the material, and then send it to the designated group.

John Coumerilh We are running into many situations where we need to apply a communication plan to the students currently shown filtered on the screen. We need it for students who have been selected for Financial Aid Verification and for students who have been identified as "at risk" due to a multiple of criteria. We also need it for students who are taking a particular course. I'm certain, as we get up to speed in our financial package, we will be needing this capability quite often there too. Please consider implementing this feature sooner than later. As our college grows beyond 500, this feature will free our staff of many hours of repetitive effort.

Phuong Nguyen Hi all,
I was looking for this as well and I remembered that there is one place where you can do this. Under the Academics, Reporting....after you slice your data, the "Actions" button (located at upper right) has an option to apply a communication plan.
Since the slicer can filter tags, if you tag prospects you've imported from your old system, you can apply the communication plan to them in this way as well.
Hopefully, this is what you're looking for :-)

Adam Sentz @Phuong - The Data Slicer is part of Academics Reporting, so it only returns students. So you won't be able to get a list of prospects via the Data Slicer.

Mark Ackerman You've been able to do this for a while in various parts of Populi, including tag lists, the Leads report and in the Data Slicer. If anyone has a case where they find themselves not able to apply a Communication Plan in bulk, let us know at support@populiweb.com. Thanks!
