I received these comments from a faculty member:
It is easy to grade tests in Populi, but giving feedback is not as easy. The only fairly easy way to do it, it seems to me, would be to open up a second browser window and switch back and forth and type feedback in an email to a student as you grade tests and you would have to do one for every test or else have a browser window open for every student (because I like to grade all of one test for all students so I can compare their work; I think I give more comparable grades that are fair that way). Is there some way to open up a feedback box in the "to be graded" section? If not, this would be a feature to recommend for future updates of Populi.
The individual email option he suggests sounds too involved to me. A feedback box sounds reasonable.
