I often have to go back and clean up an old student record that has a student role that has been made inactive.
When I do this, I have to:
1. go in and make the student role active
2. make whatever changes are necessary, and then
3. deactivate the role again.
The problem is that when I deactivate the role, I have to re-enter the withdrawal date and reason, which is very cumbersome, particularly if I don't have the hard copy of the file in front of me.
I would love to have the ability to edit records without having to activate the student role first.
