Hi,
I tried to search the forums to make sure this hasn't been requested already. So, sorry if this is a duplicate. I'd love a quick way to assign grades for discussion board posts. Thanks!

Agreed.
If this feature is added, I would also like to see a way to send comments back to students, similar to how file assignments are handled.
I would love if you adjusted the reporting tab, so that when I click on the link listing the discussion and the number of postings, it would bring me to a place where I can see just that student's postings and be able to post a grade that loads into the gradebook and allows comments as noted above. At the very least, a method to be able to export and/or sort postings would be excellent.
I agree that the ease of grading online discussions would be improved if the posts of each student were clustered. Thank you!
I think I would save a lot of time grading if the posts could be clustered or sorted.
This would be incredibly helpful for our professors as well!!
Discussion boards needed to be graded within the tab. It would also be great to track how many posts by each student, length, etc.
This would be an awesome help.
The ability to grade individual posts is vital to any graded discussion. Please add this feature. Thanks!
Really would like to be able to grade the progress of my students discussion. I require an initial post (worth 50%) and two additional responses to classmates (worth 25% each). If I could provide feedback to the students on all 3 aspects that would be great. If not, I would like to be able to provide an overall grade.
It will help us to be able to grade the discussions individually.
You can now create graded discussions that allow you to grade comments and replies (among other things).
Here's an overview of how Graded Discussions work in Populi https://support.populiweb.com/entries/104200966-Graded-discussions
Enjoy!
Jennifer's request still has not been implemented (December 4, 2012), and I found this one as well, which seems similar....

Our online classes incorporate a lot of discussion posts and replies. It would be great if it was possible for our professors to see all of one student's post/replies for a given week. That would surely make grading easier, especially for larger classes.
@Michelle - Populi has had the ability to view all of one student's comments and replies in a particular discussion, as well as enter grades and comments, for as long as it has had graded discussions. You can also click "Enter Grades", enter a grade and comment and click "Save and go to the next student" until you've graded everyone. There's also a number of options available for automatic grading that you can explore. If you or anyone on your staff need assistance or training on any of this please reach out via a support request.
Quick point of clarification about feature requests: we mark feature requests "Done" when we believe we have satisfied the request laid out in the original post (and not necessarily every comment made on that post). In this case, however, we also implemented the ability to see all of one student's comments and add a grade and comment as Jennifer suggested.
Isaac provided a screen shot of what I should see, but it does not match with what we see in the course! I have never seen the Feedback, Discussion, Stats tabs in that location. I have sent request to Isaac for assistance.
