It would be great if when we were setting up applicationi components that we would be able to reorder the fields that have been selected. Currently we have to make sure that we get the order of the fields correct or you have to unselect all of the fields after the one that you want to insert.

Sherry Mahon No one has answered the comment from Steve Sutcliffe:
Has no one raised the concern about the history of the application form? If you remove some of those fields (say in a later revision of your application form or because you don't want to go through the effort of adding x & y again) those fields are gone from all your old application forms as well. It's a little disconcerting if you are hoping to keep all this data online.
March 12, 2013 09:15 pmIs this right? I thought just because the field is deleted from the form the info is still safe. Please let me know as this changes how we would edit the application. Thanks -
Adam Sentz @Sherry - removing a field from an application doesn't affect data stored in that field, just whether it's on the application or not.

Steve Sutcliffe @adam - but there is no way to view that data again on old application forms. Once a field is removed all the old forms have that field removed as well, so there is no way to view that old information, even if it exists somewhere in the database.

Adam Sentz @Steve - That's true. There's a lot of room for improvement in Admissions. Stay tuned.

Sherry Mahon Good point Steve. We always print the application once it is complete and have a physical file for each student so this way the info is saved.

Adam Sentz The new Admissions allow you to put fields in whatever order you like.
