We would love to see you develop fields and application components that could be conditional. For example there could be a residence component for an applicant that wants to live in dorm.

Adam Sentz Some of you may have noticed that we recently released (in public beta) general use Forms which feature conditional fields. Lest anyone wonder, yes, we are planning to bring the new functionality over to Applications. It's still a significant project to port the new form tech into Applications, but a lot of the groundwork has been done now so we're closer than before.

Wilhelm Mauch Yes, I was wondering. Thanks for the update.
This is a major upgrade and we are excited. Amazing job there.

Clay McFerrin Super excited about the Forms upgrade and the future renovation of applications!
-
Laurel Rasmussen I hope this is happening soon!

James I'm pleased to announce that we're getting very close to rolling out the next upgrade to admissions applications - and this includes conditional fields!
This update also allows applications to be broken up into multiple pages, and you can make a whole page conditional, as well. Conditional fields/pages only show up based on the value of some other field on the application, and it's fine to make them required (if they don't show up on a particular application, Populi will ignore the requirement and allow the application to be submitted anyway).
We've rolled the beta features out to about half a dozen clients so far, and if anyone here wants their college to participate in the beta, just open a support request! -
Wilhelm Mauch Amazing news, thank you so much.

Vadim Chepurny Please add the ability to select a condition based on whether a text field is filled out our not. The current beta only allows for selection fields to be used as conditions.
-
Vadim Chepurny It would also make sense to add a conditional application fee, where we can select one field in the application that would determine the fee of the application.

Vadim Chepurny With the introduction of application pages, there should be some kind of a navigation up top for the applicant that indicates page progress (including page titles and page location).
