We currently are able to embed youtube and vimeo videos into Course Lessons just by posting a link in the course lesson body. This is really nice but it's limited to public content. We would like to be able to post a link for a .mov file in a class lesson and have Populi wrap a player around it just the same. This would allow for schools that use iTunes U to embed their videos into their lessons (assuming they know the link address to the movie).
We would also like to be able to do the same thing w/ mp3 files. If we post a url w/ a .mp3 can we get Populi to wrap a flash player around it? One Pixel Player has worked nice for me in doing this kind of thing on other sites.
