Bookstore Discounts

Our bookstore sells items to staff at a 20% discount, and also functions as our internal supply depot, providing stationary & other items at cost for college purposes.  We also allow all staff & departments to charge to account (though we don't allow students this privilege)  These are all functions that would be extremely useful for us, and I'm not quite sure how we are going to operate the bookstore this fall without these features.

- Ability to charge to a departmental account or personal account, while limiting students abilities to charge
(Ideally all our deparment accounts would be subsets of a 'master' account for ease of invoicing (one invoice each month for all the school purchases))

- Specify discount levels for individuals

- Easily apply discounts or change prices at point of sale

  All of the above features are what we are looking for as well in a bookstore management program.

  Since creating this request, we have actually scaled back our bookstore operations (basically closed everything except textbook sales to students) to the point where we no longer need the features requested above.  This is allowing us to make the transition to using the Populi bookstore, but I think these would still be useful features in a retail point of sale solution.

  Yes, please add a discount section.  We need it for offering discounts for our staff

  We have been requesting more point-of-sale basic functionalities for time eternal now. Very limited with the current set-up.
