FYI -- for donor module development
When working w/ donors, I really don't want to have to add a Mr. John Doe as one contact, and a Mrs. John Doe as a second contact.. We see student contacts as individuals, but most donors are considered a couple. We communicate to them as a couple -- I joint info letter, 1 joint thank you note, etc.
Will you please consider this when developing the donor module.

Diane Sharp This is still very important to us. If a couple donates, it is beyond bad donation etiquette to send only one of them acknowledgement of the gift. I currently export my donors into an excel spreadsheet, then into mal merge to print labels for mailings (not sure if Populi has an easier way). This way I can catch the married couples that I know. It would be nice to have an "available column" on the export option page for their spousal connection so I can edit that label to reflect both people. This will work for me to get around the inability to enter couple donors for now, but when we grow this will be a hassle too. Side note: we also need to be able to enter donations into an organization's profile as we get donations from businesses and churches. Thanks!

Jacqueline Roatch Has this been improved upon since 2014? Is this what the "soft credit" is for? How does thanking "soft credits" work?
