Some method of selecting and saving records from the search results would be useful -- a patron could select and retain interesting books from several searches, then perhaps print a find list to go look for the resources. It would also be helpful for the librarian to be able to select a number of resources for various actions, like merging them (if that becomes available) or just for editing and updating the catalog, printing new labels (when that is possible), etc. In our old catalog this was called the "briefcase."
