We'd like some to do conditional formatting using Preferred Names and First Names for both Sender and Recipient If there is a Preferred Name then we'd like that printed, otherwise we need First Name printed. We currently will have to create duplicate templates and communications plans for our recruiters because one uses a preferred name and the other does not.

Adam Sentz Hi Kurtis,
Are you saying that you'd simply like a Preferred Name variable that returns First Name when there is no preferred name? We do this some places in Populi, but it's not completely consistent in Communication Plans. We've made a note to correct this.
If, however, you want one recruiter to be able to send communications with preferred name while another recruiter uses first name you will still have to have two separate templates.

Kurtis Habecker Adam,
If a variable returned First Name when there was no Preferred Name that would work be exactly what we want.

Adam Sentz We do that everywhere else so we'll add that in to communications plans where it's missing.
