The student view of the Financial Aid info seems to be available only after they've been offered awards, and only until they accept or decline their awards - why not leave it up for them to see anytime (like as a tab under the Financial tab)?
Doesn't it ruin the whole idea of communicating with them about financial aid through the components, when they can't see them?
@Lindsay - "In Progress" aid applications are always accessible by students on their dashboard regardless of whether they have offered awards or not. If one has awards offered the alert will say their aid application "is in progress with awards offered", otherwise it will just say "is in progress".
Students are able to communicate with your financial aid staff about aid application components through this same aid application interface so long as the application has a status of "In Progress".
