For our evening fast track program, our students are often required to come to the first night of class with reading and homework assignments completed. Currently, your Lessons tab only allows lessons to be available to students beginning with the first night of the course. It would be FANTASTIC if lessons could be made available to our students prior to the course's start date. At this point, the only way around it is to change the start date of the course...that is too confusing for students.

Dr. Beemer This would be very helpful for us. We include a lesson in our our online courses called "Start Here" which includes the syllabus, an introductory video from the instructor, textbook information, and a discussion board for FAQ. It would benefit the students to access this prior to the beginning of the session.

Toby Robinson When setting the start date for a course, you now have the option to set "student access" to an earlier date.
