ability to modify "info" details

Currently I can add a phone number for home, work, mobile, etc.  With the "other" option, it would be great to be able to add a tag line so we know what the "other(s)" number(s) are for -- ie. husbands mobile phone, secretary's private line, wife's work number...  Without the ability to note what the "other" number(s) is, it becomes useless after I forget what it is/when to use it.  I've tried making a notation in the activity feed regarding the other numbers, but I end up wasting time scrolling back and forth, trying to find the info I'm looking for...

This is certainly not an emergency need, but would make the program more efficient and user friendly.

  Populi currently handles this via the Relationships feature, which allows you to sync contact information among related people. Read more about it here: https://support.populiweb.com/entries/162957#sync

  Hey Brendan,

  I'm sorry, but the relationship feature only works if the other people are in the Populi system.  For instance, if you were a contact within our Populi system, I might want to add your wife's cell as a way to reach you on the weekend.  I don't know your wife, she is not in our system, is not connected to our school, but you, as a contact, have told me that I can call her cell phone to better reach you in off hours.  Or, as I mentioned, you have given me your secretary's direct dial number...I wouldn't have your secretary as a contact...the only reason I would ever contact her is to reach you.  Does this make sense, or am I missing something?

  Bobby,

  We designed Populi to make it simple to add people. In under 30 seconds, you can add, for example, Joe Smith's wife's name and phone number (by creating a new person) and then link Mrs. Smith to her husband and sync her phone number to him. 

  We encourage our customers to create as many people as they want or need to—it costs you nothing to do so, and you get more accurate information about the people at your school and who they relate to outside your school. We designed Populi this way because a lot of software forces you to confuse people and their relations in one file. So, I heartily recommend you use what's built-in to Populi already—in the long run, it'll make your information a lot more useful to TSBC.
