It would be very helpful if we could hide some of the alerts that appear on a student's dashboard. Currently, online tests generate an automatic alert; this is OK if all students are taking the test on a specific date. For our distance students, however, the online tests need to be made available not on a specific date, but for the entire semester for the simple reason that multiple students begin the course at multiple times. If they are alerted to "take the test now," and there are, say 25 online tests, when they first log on to Populi they are greeted with an overwhelming 25 alerts saying “Take test now”!

Heather Waisner I agree it would be great to be able to manage these alerts - either hide or delete them. I came here searching to see if this was possible and it appears that it's not. Every time I log in, I see a list of 25 tests to take - most of which I've already taken - and I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see if I have any real alerts from my instructor. Thanks for considering this suggestion. -
Christal Fehr We also have "tests" that are open all semester. Would be lovely to have some way to turn the alerts off for certain courses only.

Jenae Logan Has this feature been added yet? Would still really be helpful.
