Pending Exception in Degree Audit

Would it be possible to allow for pending exceptions in Degree Audit. We have had students that want to take a more advanced course than what is required and have allowed it based on informal training in the area of study. For such cases, we would like to be able to make a note in the student's degree audit that an exception is pending for the required course based on the successful completion of the advanced course. Could we enter an exception with a value of "0" as a placeholder until the basis for he exception has been satisfied.

Another example where this would be used is when a student is permitted to take a different course to satisfy a a requirement because of course scheduling conflicts. For example, a student was permitted to take another Bible course because of a conflict between a required BIble course and a course in the area of their major and based on the fact that future catalog year requirements for that program had been relaxed to allow students to take any Bible course instead of that specific one.

This capability would allow for continuity for the students even if employees of the college changed between approval of the proposal for exception and its fulfillment by the student.
