Is there any way to reformat the "Year" field on the card to should the academic year rather than just the current year? That is, show "2011-2012" rather than just "2012". Students think their cards have expired in the spring semester just because the year has changed.

There has already been some talk about this over in this request: https://support.populiweb.com/entries/231998-customize-student-id-cards
I agree that to most people the year displayed on the card is assumed to be the expiration as opposed to the year of printing.
As a workaround for now, I have added the academic year to the design of our ID card in large font. It's much more prominent than the one Populi prints and I have yet to receive a question as to why the two different years listed. I've attached an example of ours for you.

Cheryl Maddox Thanks, Shane. I'm fairly new to Populi. How do you customize the cards when they are generated as .pdf files? Can a change be made to the template so that it will apply to all of the cards printed? Thanks!
