I'd like to make three requests: 1) that new posts be shown in some kind of blue or green color to distinguish them from old posts. Currently, when we look at the discussion board, the number of posts in any given discussion will turn green if there's a new post in there, but often that number is, like, 50, and the new post is hidden among the 49 old posts. It makes it difficult to find what's new immediately. 2) that there be an easy way to grade each post within the discussion board without our having to leave the board to go into the gradebook - if the discussion board could be synched with the gradebook, that would serve our purposes best, and 3) we would like to be able to colect all the posts by a single author in one view. That way, if a prof wants to grade all the posts in a given week, he or she could see them all at once and be able to assess a global score rather than the hunting method that we're currently using.

Adam Sentz These are all fine ideas, but since this request is actually 3 requests in one we have no way of knowing which ideas are most important based on votes. I'm going to close this for comments, but I encourage you to open separate feature requests for these ideas.

Adam Sentz Looks like there are already other requests for unread comment markers and discussion grading.
