We have a lot of retired, inactive courses in our Course Catalog. Every time we use the course catalog we have to use the filter and narrow down the view to only show Active courses, because otherwise there are too many inactive courses cluttering up the page.
It would be helpful if the default view for Course Catalog was to view Active courses only. Of course you could still select "Both" in the filter to view all courses.
My guess is that for most people, the primary reason to visit the course catalog would be to view active, current courses, so this would simplify things for everyone!
