Compatibility with self-checkout machines in library

I'd like to suggest Populi software compatibility for self-check out machines in the library.

I agree with this. Many of our students check out books from the library after the librarian (and his assistant) have left for the day. It would be great if they could just scan their ID cards and then scan the books and then it would automatically get entered into the library system.

We would also like to request SIP2 integration between Populi and self checkout machines. It is very limiting that only a library staff/admin account can perform circulation tasks.
