We have excel reports that contain information about Organizations that are connected to our College. I think it would be helpful if we had the option of importing those reports to make it easier for us to track contact etc without having to re-type each of these entries.
I would like to see a feature that would allow us to upload our excel reports to the organization section.

Our College attends conferences and fairs. People (prospects) visiting our booth leave their name and contact information for us to contact at a later date with further College information. These names are placed on excel documents, often by volunteers/students that don't have populi roles or high level access, by which to input them directly to populi.
We wish to keep our volunteer support but don't really wish to extend them high level access to our College information by extending them a more extensive populi role. So my questions are:
Is there a populi role that would give them only the ability to add this prospect information without having to much other access?
OR
Is there plans to offer the option to upload contact information to populi prospects from some format like excel?
Uploading these lists of prospects to our populi prospects would help us to better communicate with emails etc. and track follow up for these contacts and volunteer hours are a vital resource we wish to utilize

I agree that this would be helpful to have. Importing is a pretty standard expectation in any software that resembles a database. We would love to be able to get a list of churches and ministries connected with our school and import them into Populi rather than entering each one manually.
I know this is from several years ago but what we do at our conferences when we are getting several hundred names is use the built in embedded iFrame code from Populi. Just take that code and create a basic web page with it. Then from any phone tablet or computer just bring up that page and which display a form and they are automatically entered in as a lead.
