Populi is set up to automatically generate a number of statistical reports, but one that I need is one that tells us 1) how many resources we have, 2) how many (and which resources) have actually been checked out, and 3) a ratio automatically calculated from these two numbers.
It would be great if our library had a "usage ratio" of 100 percent (meaning that every one of our resources were checked out).
If we have a low usage ratio (a small percentage of resources that were ever needed or checked out), that tells us that we need to weed our shelves from unwanted books. I also need to know, specifically, which titles are unused during a given period of time (per year or since our inception). If Populi were set up to give us this information, its value would sky-rocket.
