Dashboard/Manage News.
Allow us to put in a date when the news item is to be deleted, so that keeping the news up to date is easier. For instance, if I am putting in a news event for a Nov 1 event, I would be able to add in Nov 2 as a delete date, and the post would automatically delete at 12:01 Nov 2nd.
Not high priority by any standard, but helpful and time saving...

I agree... would be a handy little feature.
I was just about to submit this same feature request but saw it already existed. We anticipate often posting News that is only relevant until a certain date (for instance, indicating various deadlines). As such, the ability to schedule not only when the post will publish, but also when it will delete, would be incredibly helpful. This helps us avoid any confusion arising from a student viewing a post between the end of the relevant deadline and when we can manually delete the post.
This would be so handy, especially for Student Loan and Scholarship deadlines. I don't want deadlines being up for longer than they have to and crowding the dashboard.
