It would be nice to add a specific or customized question or a couple of questions to the initial application form. This section could possibly be called "Additional Information" and the school could ask a question or two to glean a little more information about the student before moving forward.

This morning's update to Populi Admissions solves this by, sort of, eliminating the initial application submission. You still have a smaller set of fields to start with, but the applicant can then move on to the fully customized online application without waiting for their application to be imported or having an account.
