The folks in the Accounting Department need information about fines and fees from students who have a balance due. Those who fine fines or fees to pay have a lien placed on their grades. It would be great if this information on balances due on library accounts were directly linked to Accounting. That would make things so much more stream-lined.

Ann Rill We do the same thing. it would be helpful for the finance office to have this information when needed. However, many of our patrons are not college students. It would be great to be able to separate the patron types when running these types of reports.

Meredith Ader It would be helpful to have this feature so that communication between offices is clearer. Right now, library staff does not know that a payment has been taken care of, if it happens in the accounting office without having to directly ask for each student account.

Elim Librarian I would also like to see a way to link accounting to library fines, both unpaid and a record of the paid fines.
