have the red pop-up alert message stay on the screen until manually closed

When we register students, the pop-up message alerting to an issue with schedule conflict, course mapping, etc. flashes on the screen then is gone within seconds of appearing. I don't always catch what the message is to know how to resolve it without checking further. It would be extremely helpful if the message stayed on the screen until manually closed so a note can be made of the error so the necessary steps can be taken to correct.
