I wonder if it would be a good idea to make it possible to grade quiz questions without seeing the name of the person whose answer you're grading. ? I hope I am not biased but......something tells me that we all have biases, and if I could grade these quizzes blind, that would eliminate bias as a factor in my grading. Of course, sometimes we need to fudge the grading a bit to accommodate certain students (ESL students for instance). What do you think?

Alma Zermeno I agree with the request above. It would be helpful to our school because we are a law school and it is important that the professors not see the names of the students. When the students take an exam, they use an exam # so the professor does not know who the student is who took any particular test. This is very helpful because then there is no chance of bias. Currently, our old database generates a random # for each student that they use for the exams in a particular term. We need to figure out a way to generate them now since we are using Populi, but not necessarily the student ID generated by Populi. We were thinking that maybe using the last 4 digits of the students SS# would be good because at least they shouldn't forget that :) Any suggestions would be welcomed!
