It would be helpful to have a Lost books report in the library. It can be difficult to determine who lost which book after the resource has been marked "Lost."

Ann Rill I am struggling with this today. Once the book is marked lost, there is no easy way to track it down to know who to charge for the replacement.

Adam Sentz @Ann - If the book is checked out to someone when it is marked lost a fine should be added to that patron's account to the tune of the replacement cost of the resource. If something isn't working right for you let us know in a support request and we'll check it out.

Royal Montgomery I would also like a Lost book report for a few reasons:
- it would be easier to print a report in order to double check the shelf (if something had not been checked in correctly but had been returned and re-shelved)
- we don't charge for lost items unless the student has not returned it by graduation/withdrawal, so I do still need to email the student
The setup right now has us go through multiple clicks because Lost items are at the copy level, and they don't show up in a student's circulation unless we click "All", which then also gives everything else (including books they returned). All of these things can still be accomplished without a separate list that gives us only Lost items, but it's more time-consuming.
