Designating Which Invoice Payments are Applied To

We are having problems with the fact that when a student makes a payment, the payment automatically goes to the oldest invoice. We need students to be able to designate where the payment is applied.

  YES!!  Could it apply to the oldest invoice of the same dollar value instead of strictly the oldest invoice.  The current method messes up the system and I have to go into those invoices and unapply the payments and then reapply them correctly.
