Tie Course Attendance to 'Attendance' assignment group grade

I've looked into the topic link "Counting Attendance into the Final Grade" @ https://support.populiweb.com/entries/236017-Counting-Attendance-into-the-Final-Grade,

but it'd be great to be able to link this information? Doesn't make much sense to have to go in and manually enter the grade if the information is already there. Thanks!
