Currently in Populi, when transfer credits are added, there is an option to mark the transfer course to affect or not affect standing. I wonder if it's possible to have transfer courses that are mapped to courses that affect standing to automatically be set to affect standing.
For example, let's say that in the course catalog, BUS 101 (3.0 credits) = affect standing; but SCI 101 (4.0 credits) = not affect standing
If a student has transfer credits for both BUS 101 and SCI 101, it'll be great if Populi can recognize that BUS 101 affect standing and give him the 3.0 credits towards calculation of his standing. This way, Admissions and Registrar do not have to remember which courses are set to affect standing in the catalog and mark those accordingly when entering transfer credits. If Populi can help with this automatically, it can reduce errors by Admissions and Registrar.
