Track Student Additions/Deletions Within A Course

As our faculty are advising students on courses and preparing classes we like to keep an eye on which students and how many students are taking each course. As class numbers increase/decrease it would be great if both the registration office and the professor of the course could have a record of who added/dropped the course. Presently, before the add/drop date, students can drop a course and no record within the class is tracked and the potential for no one to notice is high. It also causes frustration for professors when their class numbers go down and they cannot figure out which student dropped their course or why. Right now we can look at individual students to see their course changes but it would be great to have such a feature in each of the classes in order to track changes by class rather than having to hunt down these changes by looking at each individual student.
