Often there are situations that are variations on existing communications. Being able to modify a template or communication plan, and retain the original, would be helpful. A button to copy or duplicate an existing template or communication plan would be helpful.

Geoffrey Lewis I'm kind of shocked that there isn't an option to do simple copies, including for assignments. That's kind of a standard feature in similar systems.

Mary Vandercook SO, MY RESPONSE BACK TO POPULI WAS: (it is so that when we create one for one program, some minor edits will need to be made for the different programs: so multiple "similar" communication plans will need to be active at the same time. When major changes happen to the communication plans, I don't want to copy and paste too much because I found that since there is a lot of fields in those communication plans, I leave a step out here and there, or mix up the orders...) It will help if I can clone, so whenever we do make changes to the communication plan, we can clone the NEW&UPDATED communication plan to make minor changes for the multiple programs (that way, I can just make changes to each of the programs' communication plans from the clones).

Clark Wray This would be hugely helpful as we scale and use Populi for more automated communication. Being able to re-order the plan would be helpful aswell.

Tracy Martin Is there any progress on this feature? At this point in time it would be extremely useful.
We would like to create a "branded" template with all the pretty graphics and such, and then be able to copy this for any new communication and just modify/enter the text..

Alisha Tembo Looks like this request had a lot of attention, but I can't see that this has been improved yet. We would really be able to benefit from this as well if we could copy a template that already exists and make minor edits.

Adam Sentz Chantal LaFortune - On the list of templates (e.g. Communications > Templates > Email Templates) click the three stacked dots icon at the top right of the template you wish to make a copy of and choose Clone Template.
