Recently I'm working on new application feature for our college. While I was making and testing something, I realize that I could not make what I want about application features on Populi.
Especially, I wanted to figure out how I could apply the field that is not required to completion rate for we have unofficial reference forms so our counselors know how much the application is completed.
As you know, the reference is a confidential document to an applicant so I don't want an applicant to upload references of him/her by himself/herself but I want this field to be shown on completion rate to help counselors.
In order to fulfill requirement, I recommend you to make different kind of completion rate that I'd like to call it "Internal Completion Rate" or "Review Completion Rate".
For instance, the application will be consisted with two kinds of fields which are for applicants and for counselors. In this case, a reference file upload field could be for counselors so the applicants cannot see this field on the application web page. When the applicant fill out all required field, the application completion rate will be 100% as it is but there is another completion rate for counselors so when counselor makes decision for each field of application like accepted, rejected or something like that after review the application, internal completion rate will be increased and internal application fields too. It means internal completion rate also will be increased when counselor uploads the applicant's reference, transcripts or immunization record. With this feature, counselors can recognize which application need to be reviewed at a glance.
If this feature will be developed, it'll be really helpful to many of admissions.
