We are currently trying to move to a mostly online registration process for students. However, we would like to see some kind of notification once a student has been registered for a term. Perhaps an option to notify the registrar when an advisor has completed registration?

Adam Sentz Official comment Populi has the ability to trigger an email to be sent whenever a student's enrollment status changes. For help setting this up please contact Populi Support.

Adam Sentz Any information y'all can provide about use cases or how you'd like this to work would be helpful.

Greg Torwalt It would be very helpful if the Registrar and Advisor received notifications (emails, or some sort of notification through Populi) whenever a student registers in any course.
Our students are supposed to receive permission from their faculty advisor prior to registering, but there are times where students just go into Populi and register for courses without receiving this permission first, and if we don't happen to be looking through their Populi pages, it can go unnoticed for a while and the student may be charged tuition for a course they aren't supposed to be taking - - which leads to complications on the financial/invoice side of things.
Thanks!

Adam Sentz @Greg - Many customers add a registration lock to all students before each term, and then have their advisors remove them individually as students are approved for their courses. If you have questions about setting this up please contact Populi Support.
