Would you consider developing a Populi app for Android? The iPhone app is great, but it leaves out about half of our students!

Adam Sentz Official comment The Populi app is now available in the Google Play Store. And there was much rejoicing.

George Gunn I just switched from an Apple OS device to an Android. I do miss the Populi app and sincerely hope that one of the geniuses at Populi is working on an Android version of the Populi app. I've also received numerous requests from students for such an app.

George Gunn Just another note on this: I have a Samsung Mega. It's got a pretty large screen for a smart phone. With this size screen, I have no trouble logging into Populi in Chrome and doing whatever I need to do. However, this may not be a reasonable solution for those who have phones with smaller screens.

Dawn Dirksen Thanks @Adam, I am totally intrigued now, perhaps even impatient! Our student life team is proposing to spend additional money on a campus communication app and I'd much prefer to see them communicating via Populi! Any additional details, timeframe, etc, would be greatly appreciated!

Chris Crowley Just curious how this is coming. I see that under settings it suggests it is possible to add your populi profile to an Android app, but I don't see it in the Play Store.

Adam Sentz @Chris - We have a totally rebuilt app coming soon for iOS that we will be able to port to Android as well. No firm date yet, but it's in process. The authorized devices page in Settings went up with the last big release that also contained all the new mobile code. It's a bit confusing now since the new apps aren't out yet; sorry about that!

Erin Kolbe Any news on Andriod app? I have had several people asking about it, so that they have quick access on their devices to get to their sign in screen and classes.

Ann Rill This must be an incredible app since it is still in development over a year later! Any roll-out date yet? We would love to be able to quit printing IDs and just have students use the app.
