I would like to be able to copy an existing catalog record and then change whatever fields need to be different when cataloging multiple volumes of a resource or adding a new edition of a previous resource. This would save a lot of time and effort when cataloging multiple volume sets and even resources on similar topics. Often the only thing which needs to be changed is the call number, title, and barcode. Example: The Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine Volume 1 (A-B), RA 184 .C56 v.1, The Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine Volume 2 (C-F) RA 184 .C56 v.2, etc. instead of having to create all these records separately.
