Before the Admissions upgrade in December 2013 we could create a mass email and exclude or include whatever tag we had made ie: Pastors or Guidance Counselors. Now that is not possible and we can only include but not exclude.
Could we please have that feature back as I had created tags specifically for this use and now find the mass emails very difficult.
@Sherry - You can still exclude tags on mailing lists. If you're having trouble using that feature please open a support request so we can figure out what the problem is.

There not a way to exclude a tag from the leads list. You can, however, include tags. So if the non-international students have a tag you can email that tag. You could also email based on application (like anyone with the "Canadian Student Application."

@Sherry - Sorry I hadn't seen your support request from earlier and I assumed you were referring to mailing lists and not sending from Leads. It might be possible for you to use mailing lists if you have everyone tagged, but you are correct that you can't currently exclude tags in the filter on the Leads page.
I'd try using the Active Lead system tag in a mailing list, and see if you can get the list you want that way.
