At present, Populi does not display deceased Persons in lists where such a Person would usually be included. For example, viewing the people assigned a certain Tag will hide all deceased Persons with no indication that there are additional hidden results. Whether a staff member is pulling numbers for a quick presentation or the registrar is trying to examine a cohort for retention purposes, it seems important to (a) know that there are in fact additional records that match the criteria and (b) to be able to see what those records are. Maybe something like the attached? I would expect "Export People" to include the the deceased, perhaps in a separate section. But Email People and Apply Communication Plan to People should probably not include the deceased.
Although there might be a case to be made for being able to include them (for example, to keep a surviving spouse up to date on goings-on or for other development purposes).
