Many SIS systems have a GPA calculator that students like to play with. It's basically a "what if" tool for them to see if they got certain grades how it would impact their cumulative GPA. It's solely based on final course GPA, not assignment grades.
Not a necessity, but a nice bonus. Helpful when students are on probation so they know what cards they are dealt!
