It would be great if we could copy applications to a new lead in the same student. If a student defers or withdraws, but decides to attend the following semester/year, we consider their application still valid. As it is right now, we just change their original application from deferred, to in progress, and change the academic term of that lead. The problem this creates is that now if we try to run a report to see how many deferred students we actually converted into students in the future, there's no way to see this student deferred previously since we removed that from their profile.
If we could copy the application to a new lead within the same student, we could copy the application to a new lead, then make the academic term/status changes to the new app while leaving the old one intact as "deferred".
Is there already a way to do this that I'm missing?
