Shopping Sheet Tool

It be great to add a shopping sheet tool for financial aid. 

As of right now all schools are required to give a shopping sheet to prospective VA students and are encouraged to provide the sheet to ALL students. 

It would be awesome if Populi could generate a shopping sheet for prospective students based on their cost of attendance, anticipated aid, etc. 

The govt. already has an HTML template for creating shopping sheets, it's just difficult to implement for those of us who aren't technologically minded.

  There are components that are included in the Isakson Roe Act for VA that are not included on the current template.  For instance - grad rates, job placement rates, Avg. Student Loan Debt/repayment info upon graduation . . . Any chance the College Financing Plan could be worked to accommodate the new requirements?  Or that a second one for VA students could be added?

  I am adding my vote to have a shopping sheet tool added.  I am trying to migrate away from using EdExpress, (where I print out our shopping sheets) since Populi has added amazing tools for us in FA.  We need, however, the ability to print a shopping sheet for our VA students.  If you need any information, I'll be happy to supply.

  Adding my voice to the request to get these components that are required for the VA into the CFP. Can we get this bumped to the top of the priority list? The current CFP in Populi has 80% of the needed fields and values. I would be happy to supply a template given to us by our state approving agency that shows the additional fields that are needed.

  Some states (NY - 2016 and CT - 2014 that I know of) have passed their own laws requiring a shopping sheet for ALL students who have been accepted for admission. I think it is only a matter of time before the Department of Education makes it a requirement for ALL school nationwide. I hope that Populi is already working on this and that we will have a shopping sheet template soon!!!

  Adding my vote!!!! The Department of Ed has already provided the template so it should be an easy thing to create.

  Jennifer, Are you having to enter the FA Awards in BOTH Populi and EDE to be able to run the shopping sheet?

  Another vote for a Shopping Sheet template.  We are moving away from Edexpress so would love to be able to get this out of Populi.

  Adding my vote as well. I tinkered with the template a little and it seems like the variables (with the exception of individual COA components) are housed in populi. Since Populi's system tracks enrollment status in the financial aid tab we need to make sure the student's sheet correct intended enrollment status is reflected whent the sheet is generated so the COA, Pell Grant and recommended loans are accurate when it's delivered to the student.

  It is not hard to replace the XXXX placeholders, just extremely time consuming and prone to human error if they have to be entered manually. Even an export file from populi with a student's individual variables could potentially be a good stopgap.

  Are there components you need that it does not address? I came across this while trying to solve the same problem you all seem to be working to solve.

  Adding my vote, this should be a small request for such an important mandate from the VA.
