It would be helpful for students (and sometimes faculty) to be able print an assignment with all of the annotations printed out. I know this is a feature in other LMS. This prevents the student from having to look at the graded assignment and then determine which bubble goes with what. The comments would simply be printed either on the page...or on the side with a line to the bubble.

Kristin Anderson This would be very helpful to us. We have student contributing chapters in courses that all combine to a final project. If they could download their papers or even print them with comments, it would help them integrate changes in the end.

Jonathon Beeke We would like to see this as well!

Rachel Chenoweth Yes, this would be great for students to see annotations when they print a hard copy.

Liza Davis We would also like to see this.

Elaine Phillips We also request improved annotation capabilities.Instructors need the option for a larger annotation box and larger font; and they need to be able to print those annotations when they print student documents.I sometimes like to print and view the same assignment from several students side by side. I have more ink and paper for that than I do multiple monitors. And sometimes I work away from any computer and am glad to have assignments printed.I'd like to think Populi wants its annotation feature fully useful so instructors don't decide they should annotate outside Populi: download to and comment via another program, and then save back to Populi. Populi has the right idea offering annotations affixed to student documents, and these improvements would increase its value for teaching. -

Francis Feingold Seconding. My students would like the ability to download the file containing my annotations, so they don't have to be online and in Populi to view them.

Ann Maouyo It would also be nice (but this is not as crucial as being able to save/ download) to be able to annotate by highlighting the text being annotated (instead of creating a box which may or may not exactly cover the text referred to).

Ann Maouyo Yes please! It would be helpful to be able to do this. You could do it by having the assignment printed to PDF or downloaded or a Save-as. As an instructor I sometimes want a personal record of what I told a student. I notice this request was first submitted in 2015... it would be great to see it move up in the list of priorities.
